At the beginning of this module, you were introduced to the bucket method of categorizing your content. Now it's time for you to decide what categories you'll measure.
Use the downloadable, editable worksheet to plan out your categories and topics
Tips for Success:
- Test core content pillars first.
- Once you have your general categories or buckets, brainstorm a bank of topics under each category to get posts fresh and stave off writer's block.
- Pick a time frame. Three months is a good start.
- Use the downloadable workbook to plan your content categories and testing time frame.
Ideas to get you going
- Core content categories (recommended)
- Image category (i.e couples, details, activities, emotional moments, BTS or reception spaces)
- Detail Category - great for planners and photographers (portraits, bouquets, cake, centerpieces, event spaces,, dancing, etc)
- Copy length: short, medium, long.
- While I haven't done it, you can try to test hashtags, if you test one at a time.
